Affiliate Disclosure

Some of the retailer links on Runlow are, or may become, affiliate links. If you buy something after clicking one, we may earn a commission from the retailer, at no added cost to you — the price you pay is the same either way. This page explains how that actually works. The short version appears above every post's headline, near the links it applies to, as the FTC requires; this is the fuller policy behind it.
How to tell an affiliate link from a plain one
Where we have an active affiliate relationship with a retailer, the link carries a tracking code. An Amazon link goes straight to amazon.com with our Associates tag in its address. Other retailers' affiliate links route through a redirector at go.getastud.com before landing on the retailer's own site. Either way the destination stays visible in the link text or the page you land on, never hidden or disguised. Where we don't have an affiliate relationship with a retailer yet, the link goes straight there, plain and untagged, and works exactly the same way for you.
Amazon Associates
Runlow's Amazon links are part of the Amazon Associates program. Amazon's required statement, "As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases," appears in the footer of every page.
What this does and doesn't change about our research
Commission rates never factor into what we recommend. Picks are chosen on formulation, certification, compatibility, and fit for the situation you're buying for — see "Editorial independence" on How we work for the full policy. We'd rather point you to the right product at a retailer we have no relationship with than the wrong one at a retailer that pays. No price shown on Runlow, and no calculator result, is affected by whether a link is an affiliate link.
We also don't aggregate or publish buyer reviews, ratings, or review counts anywhere on the site — see How we work — so nothing here influences a star rating or "most popular" label, because we don't carry either.
Where affiliate links can appear
Retailer links appear in product recommendations, comparison content, and calculator pages, pointing to Amazon, Walmart, Target, Chewy, Instacart, Costco, or Sam's Club depending on where a given product is sold. Not every retailer relationship is active for every product at every point in time; where price or a specific offer isn't shown, that's because we don't have a verified, current figure to display, not because of anything about the affiliate relationship itself.
